Our Mission

Eric launched Aukai Electrical with the mission of serving the people of Hawaii with Aloha. Job site cleanliness, attention to detail and professionalism are just some of the work ethics that are stressed.

The company is owned and operated by Mr. Eric Aukai Almeida. He was born and raised in Kailua, Oahu and graduated from Punahou School in 1999. After graduating high school, he enrolled in the electrical apprenticeship program at Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., Hawaii Chapter (ABC). Over the course of his training, Eric work for Punahou School Maintenance, FOPCO, and ON Electric to gain experience in a variety of areas in his field. After earning his Electrical Journeyman’s license, he returned to teach in the ABC program, while working for MH Electric as an Electrical Foreman. After his students graduated 4 years later, Eric shifted his attention to raising his new family and continuing to develop his career. With over twenty years working in the construction field, Eric has experience working and supervising a variety of projects including Residential, Commercial and Government (State and Federal).

During his free time, Eric enjoys fishing, diving and other outdoor activities with his wife Cori, son Aukai and daughter Mahina.

Jobsite cleanliness, attention to detail and professionalism are just some of the work ethics that are stressed. By creating a positive family felt work environment this feeling of comfort is passed on to our clients.
